Towards the end of winter with some snow still on the ground, I decided to gather some part frozen, part dried hosta leaves...they grow just outside my studio.
What kind of marks would they leave on my paper? And what if I try some Daniel Smith iridescent watercolours......A beautiful result. There is the softest shimmer where the iridescent colours pooled against the veining in the leaves.
